Where Am I?

Content in Renao is organized by collections.  The navigation header will let you know what collection you are in and what type of content you are viewing.

The first line, prefixed with the word “collection:” is the url of the collection you are currently looking at.  The site itself is considered the top-level collection.  Below this line are a series of buttons for manipulating this and other collections.  The bottom row of the navigation header is a list of resource types available in this collection.  The resource type we’re currently looking at is highlighted.

The Resource List

The resource list helps you find, create, modify and delete content for the current collection.  At first this list will be empty, of course.  The new button will open a smaller window to add a new item to the list.
When your list is really long, it will be broken into multiple pages, accessible by the navigation buttons at the bottom of the list.  Another handy way of finding what you need to update is the search box over on the right, at the top of the list.
Each resource in the list is selectable, either by clicking on the check box or by clicking anywhere else on the row.  Each row has a menu of actions that appears next to its checkbox when your mouse is over the row.  A list-wide menu appears at the top of the list when at least one row is selected.

The Resource Editor

Resource creation and editing happens in a new window, which opens when you:

The Editor is topped by the url of the resource you’ve opened, and below this is a series of tabs.  The tabs list different properties of the current resource which you fill out as desired.  Clicking on the blue disk next to the tab saves your work.
